This interactive model shows the post-eruption growth of the lava dome inside Mt. St. Helens crater across three USGS survey epochs: 1982, 1984, and 1986. The mountain base reflects the 1980 crater geometry with a sculpted transition zone and embossed SVG contour elements. The 1952 pre-eruption snowcap is included for reference.
All five mesh objects share a common coordinate space. Toggles let you isolate or overlay any combination of layers, overlapping dome epochs will show Z-fighting, which is expected.
