Five separate mesh objects representing the progression of 3D printed models of Mt. St. Helens at distinct USGS survey epochs from the 1952, 1980, 1981 are arranged in a line. Each object is colored to the hex code matching the filament used for the 3D print or the color used to distinguish the mesh in Blender. The models are allowing direct visual comparison of how the summit and crater changed following the May 18, 1980 eruption and the effect of the processes deployed to downscale, smooth and stitch the terrain.
